Well, even though flights to Phuket and around Thailand are being cut and suspended, Patong Beach will always attract its fair share of tourists. This Patong Beach video shows the scene around Soi Bangla as the sun is setting and everyone is preparing for the evening.

In the video is a small child referred to as a “bar kid”. He is said to hang around the bars until late at night, meaning he is likely the son of one of the bar girls or street vendors.

Patong Beach brings together an interesting range of people. You really never know who you might bump into while you’re down there. On occasions, there are even sightings of a cowboy magician. We’ll try and bring you a video of that particular Patong character soon.
