Saxophone jazz bar in Patong

Jazz bars in Patong are a rarity, but if you don’t mind paying a bit over the odds for your drinks, Saxophone bar is a worthy establishment. The place is huge – perhaps too big – and there are pool tables upstairs. This Patong jazz bar can feel a bit lifeless if it isn’t busy.
As Phuket jazz bars go, you don’t have much to choose from, so you have to make the most of it really. The band are usually pretty good, but they do sometimes border on the dreary with their vacant expressions.
The crowd is generally full of older tourists enjoying their meals. The food is good but, once again, expensive. This is definitely not a cheap place to eat or drink in Patong. You probably won’t want to spend all night at Saxophone, but for a quiet drink it’s not a bad haunt.
