Most people eat at least one Italian restaurant in Phuket during their stay on the island. Salvatore’s in Phuket Town is a decent place to eat, although the restaurant does feel like a bit of a cliché. If you can get past the tried and tested Italian-restaurant décor, there is a range of great pasta dishes to sample.

Salvatore is a decent chap who is proud of the fact that he uses only fresh ingredients in all his dishes. While perhaps not the most exciting place to eat out in Phuket Town, Salvatore does a good job and he doesn’t use any frozen food.

Next door to the Italian restaurant is Salvatore’s own pizzeria, where you can watch your meal being cooked over a wood fire before tucking in. Not a bad place to eat in Phuket Town. The wine menu is a little predictable.
