Food - resturants everywhere,every style and price range,Take ur pick.My recommendation is Chang Rai Seafood in Soi Tiger.You get to pick the fresh produce and they cook however you desire.Eaten there a number of times. Entertainment - Mostly open air,many hawkers and offers,personal choice,but DON"T pick a quiet location amongst the clamour as problems guaranteed.Walk down middle of Bangla walking street for minimal annoyance. Women - Bangla among other things has numerous girlie bars.I strongly recommend AGAINST this.Put profile on Tagged,many educated Thai women with good English more than happy to meet.Remember,Still a 3rd world country,so even educated women may get pushy.But generally,Thai women are very pleasant company.Avoid been loud,they like men to be polite and pleasant.1 night with a nice Thai lady will make you forget about Aussie women forever. Things to do - Scuba Diving,Sea Kyaking,Snorkelling,Island cruises,Para Sailing,Elephant rides,Massages,2hr oil masssage including 300 Baht tip about $24 AUD,exceptional value.Patong beach has hawkers,so not peaceful like beaches here,but can be served drinks etc and water is warm and clean.
