A lot of people come to Phuket for no other reason than to partake in Muay Thai. As a national sport, Muay Thai is incredibly popular and most of Thailand’s major destinations have places where tourists can watch and even partake in the sport. Everyone is welcome: young, old, men, women.

Phuket has its fair share of Muay Thai gyms. Tiger Muay Thai is one of the most prominent. You can find lots of Muay Thai videos knocking around the Internet, but nothing beats experiencing the sport in the flesh, so to speak.

If you’re looking for a Muay Thai holiday, there is probably nowhere better to find it than in Phuket. The island is beautiful and there are some top trainers and fighters here.
