Patong is one of the more overpriced places to eat in Phuket, but that doesn’t always equate to better food. The restaurants tend to be aimed at mass tourists, so the food is rarely anything out of the ordinary. There are a few shining beacons here and there, but for the most part the Thai food is padded out for Western palates and most of the other dishes aren’t anything special.
